A perfect gift to wish a child's healthy growth!

TSURUSHI-BINA is a traditional craft said to be originated in Shizuoka prefecture. Small stuffed dolls are hand-made by mothers and grandmothers in the pray for their daughters and granddaughters' healthy growth and future well-being.

Different wishes and prayers are embedded in distinct figures. For example, flower is in the hope that daughters and granddaughters grow up like beautiful flowers, cushion is for them to be able to sit on their own soon, red pepper is as a repellent to protect them from bad people, and so on.
