Persimmon-dyed hemp cloth for your interior decoration.

Yasuda's persimmon-dyed hemp cloth is to place on a dinning table, on a bookshelf, or to hang on the wall as an accent for interior decoration. It is made with used mosquito net and dyed with 100% natural dye extracted from persimmon juice. The beautiful patterns are realized by applying a traditional Ise-paper stenciling technique, a traditional method to dye kimono's patterns and drawings, originated and shredded from Mie prefecture.

Persimmon tannin makes colors through a natural process of gradual oxidization, which is a very reason why each cloth has slight different tone. Organic compounds are used as catalytic agents to enrich the color variations by bearing chemical reaction.

Wait to see until you receive the product and enjoy the art of the nature!
