The "Miyako tex" metallic yarns are made in Kyoto, Japan. Textures range from pearl-like soft colors to glittering metallic fibers. All yarns are surprisingly soft, beautiful in color and long to last.
Behind scenes
The secret of its softness is the technology to cut center core nylon films into thin shreads. Materials supplied by fiber production companies in Japan are colored and twisted in areas around Kyoto. Narikawa has been certified Oeko-tex standard class 1 for 11 items, and still striving to improve. The international Oeko-tex is a uniform, scientifically founded evaluation standard for the human ecological safety of textiles.
